PIRA 2B30.15

Photo of Demo

Description:

A soda can, with a small amount of water in it, is heated until the water boils. It is then quickly tuned upside down into a pan of cool water. The can is instantly crushed by atmospheric pressure outside the can. This is because the cooling steam has created a pressure inside the can much less than that outside.
