WFU Undergraduate Physics Majors Present Research Results at SPS Meeting

WFU undergraduate physics majors Claire McLellan, Zach Lamport, Natalia Azarova, and Jack Owen, attended the Spring 2010 meeting of the Society of Physics Students. The meeting took place on April 16-17 2010, at Elon University, NC. Invited speakers included Dr. Wolfgang Ketterle (MIT), 2001 Nobel Laureate, and Dr. Arthur Eisenkraft (UMass Boston), 2009 Recipient of the Robert A. Millikan Medal.

Our students have presented their results during the poster session of the meeting. They perform research on organic electronics, under the supervision of Prof. Oana Jurchescu at the Center for Nanotechnology and Molecular Materials.
