Physics Students Awarded
NSF Graduate Research Fellowships
Two Physics students at Wake Forest, Claire McLellan '12 and Jeremy Ward (graduate student) were awarded National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowships on March 30th, 2012. These Fellowships are for 3 years and provide each student with a $30,000 annual stipend, and it also provides each student's institution with a $10,500 annual cost-of-education allowance. Both students are conducting research in the Department of Physics at the Nanotech Center under the guidance of Prof. Oana Jurchescu.
