Dave Carroll Co-Organizer of MRS Nanotube Symposium

Dave Carroll is co-organizer of the Functional Carbon Nanotube Symposium of this fall's Materials Research Society Meeting held in Boston November 29 - December 3. This symposium will provide a forum for the discussion of the current state of carbon nanotube research, focusing on advances in carbon nanotube growth, processing, and functionalization; applications toward molecular-scale electronics; applications in composites; and applications for biomedical technology.

Other organizers are Bruce Weisman of Rice University, Siegmar Roth of Max-Planck-Institut fuer Festkoerperforschung, Stuttgart, and Angel Rubio, Centro Mixto CSIC-UPV/EHU and Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC), San Sebastian/Donostia, Spain.
