Nomination guidelines
Nominations may be submitted at any time. Self-nominations are welcome.
About the award
The Wake Forest University Department of Physics Distinguished Alumni Award recognizes a Physics graduate for exceptional achievement or service.
Selection criteria
The award may recognize achievement in one or more of these areas:
- Advancement of the nominee’s profession
- Public engagement, service, or contributions to STEM
- Education and mentoring
- Leadership that strengthens programs, resources, or infrastructure
What to include
- The nominee’s name, address, and email address
- The nominator’s name, address, and email address
- The nominee’s Wake Forest degree and class year
- A nomination letter describing the nominee’s achievements and service
Submit a nomination
Email nomination materials to Professor Keith Bonin at . Use the subject line “Distinguished Alumni Award Nomination.”
Nominations are confidential. Nominations not selected will remain eligible for the next award cycle unless the nominee or nominator asks to withdraw them.
