Awards Received by Faculty
Ajay Ram Srimath Kandada was named a Z. Smith Reynolds Fellow in April 2025 for his dedication to teaching, mentoring, and research. Oana D. Jurchescu was elected a 2025 Fellow of the Materials Research Society and was recognized at the April 2025 MRS Spring Meeting in Seattle.
Awards Received by Graduate Students
Katie Koch, a senior graduate student in Ajay Kandada’s lab, received the 2025 SPIE Women in Optics Scholarship, which contributes $10,000 toward her graduate-school expenses. Read the SPIE announcement.
