Biophysics is the application of physics ideas and knowledge to biological systems. Biophysicists study macromolecules, cellular structure, and interactions between biological molecules and macromolecules to gain a better understanding of biological processes. Using physics techniques to study these biological components expands our understanding of the natural world around us in a new and different way.
