Why Biophysics?
Biophysicists are involved in a number of fields, including medicine, drug development, and engineering. While biophysics may seem like a new field, physicists have been using their knowledge to solve biological questions for decades now- Francis Crick, one of the scientists who discovered DNA, was a biophysicist. Today, a large number of biophysicists are able to apply their knowledge and continue to be involved in research and development in the natural sciences.
